Jiils Data Deletion Instructions

1. What You Can Request Deleted
- All WhatsApp messages you've sent to or received from Jiils
- Your customer profile (name, phone number, email)
- Conversation history in our admin inbox
2. How to Submit a Deletion Request
- Send an email to jiils.admin@gmail.com
- Subject: "Data deletion request"
- Include:
- Your WhatsApp phone number (e.g. +44 7XXX XXXXXX)
- The email you used (if any)
- A short description of what you want deleted (or "all data")
3. What Happens Next
- We confirm receipt within 2 business days
- We delete or anonymize the data within 30 days
- You'll receive a confirmation when complete
4. Legal Retention Exceptions
We may retain certain data where legally required:
- Order / transaction records: 7 years (HMRC UK accounting law)
- Anti-fraud / dispute resolution metadata: as required by Stripe and UK consumer protection law
In these cases, your contact details will be anonymized but transaction records will remain.
