Return Policy

Jiils policy: 30 days. UK law gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase (see section 1 below). Jiils extends this to 30 days as our standard policy on every product, so you have an extra 16 days to change your mind on top of the legal minimum.
1. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel (UK law)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your item to cancel the order for any reason. You then have a further 14 days to return it to us.

2. Faulty Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your item is faulty or not as described:
- Within 30 days: full refund.
- Within 6 months: repair or replacement; if either is not possible, refund.
- After 6 months: repair, replacement, or partial refund at our discretion.
Jiils warranty is set per item:
- Refurbished items: 12-month Jiils warranty against undisclosed hardware faults. Same as our eBay refurbished listings.
- Other working condition grades (Mint, Excellent, Good, Fair): 30-day Jiils warranty.
- Items sold as Faulty: sold as-is with the named fault disclosed. No Jiils warranty, but your statutory rights above still apply.
The applicable warranty is shown on the product page (right-side trust card) and in the listing’s structured data.
3. Damaged on Arrival
If your item arrives damaged, follow these three steps:
- Photo within 48 hours. Take a pack-shot of the full device, a close-up of the damage, and — if the outer box or packaging is damaged — a photo of that too. Send everything via WhatsApp (+44 7771 005 193) with your order number.
- We reply within 4 business hours.We’ll confirm receipt of your photos and propose a remedy based on the damage — see §6 for our response-time commitment during opening hours.
- Choose your remedy. Depending on the situation we will offer one of:
- Full refund — returned to your original payment method; Stripe typically settles within 5–10 business days.
- Replacement — same model if in stock, or a comparable specification if not.
- Repair (Consumer Rights Act 2015 §23 standard — where not disproportionate); we cover return shipping both ways.
We ask for 48-hour notification so we can file a carrier insurance claim cleanly. Your Consumer Rights Act protections remain regardless of timing — see §2 above.
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, provided it is in its original condition. Stripe typically takes 5–10 business days to settle the refund to your card.
For change-of-mind returns, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility unless the item arrived faulty or significantly different from the listing description.
5. Items We Cannot Refund
- Items damaged after delivery through misuse.
- Items returned outside the 14-day cancellation window without a fault.
- Items missing original parts or accessories listed at sale.
