- Messages you send to or receive from our WhatsApp Business account (+44 7771 005193 / +44 7586 660884)
- Order details when you purchase from Jiils
- Message metadata: timestamps, delivery status, message type (text / image / audio / document)
2. Why We Collect It
- Respond to customer support inquiries
- Send automated transactional updates (e.g. quote confirmations, order status)
- Route conversations to the right team member through our internal admin inbox
- Improve service quality
3. Where We Store It
- Supabase (EU region) — primary database
- Vercel (EU edge) — application hosting
- Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — message delivery infrastructure (subject to Meta's own privacy policy)
4. Who We Share Data With
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — WhatsApp message routing
- Supabase Inc. — database storage (EU jurisdiction)
- Vercel Inc. — hosting
- Google LLC— when AI-assisted reply drafting is enabled (Gemini API; messages may be sent to Google's servers for response generation)
- Stripe Payments UK Ltd. — for order-related transactions only
We do NOT sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
5. How Long We Keep It
- WhatsApp messages and metadata: up to 24 months from last interaction, then anonymized
- Order records: 7 years (UK accounting / HMRC requirements)
- Marketing opt-outs: indefinitely
